WHRO has two advisory boards:
The Community Advisory Board and the Williamsburg Advisory Council.
Information on each is provided below.

WHRO Public Media is accepting applications for the
2024-2025 Community Advisory Board.

Public media has a long-standing commitment to being responsive to the interests of people both in particular localities and throughout the United States. To help ensure that we never lose touch with the people we serve, every public media station is required by law to have a community advisory board. WHRO’s Community Advisory Board (CAB) meets quarterly to share input and ideas on programming priorities and community services. This feedback is important as we strive to serve our community and respond to local issues. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe these meetings. All meetings are held at 6:00 PM at WHRO's Norfolk Offices at 5200 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23508.

WAC meetings are conducted four times a year at the WHRO Williamsburg Office, 1408 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188, 757.903.2302. All meetings take place from 12:00PM to 1:00 PM.
